My School Preschool stays current with best practices for the preschool environment, while honoring its rich history with long-lived traditions. The school was founded in 1971 and for almost 50 years has been guiding young hearts and minds. MSP is an independent private school structured as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The school began in Littleton and over the years has been housed at Slavens in Denver, St George’s in Cherry Hills Village, and for the past 10 years at St Catherine’s in Greenwood Village. MSP is non-denominational and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, or national origin.
My School Preschool was founded in 1971 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation licensed in the state of Colorado. The school is operated by the Executive Director and the Executive Committee of the Board. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers are one of the reasons we are an outstanding school. The successful operation and continuation of the school depends upon joint cooperation and fulfillment of responsibilities among the Board, Director, Teachers, and Parents. Families are expected to become involved in the activities of MSP. Each family is required to attend at least one Community Meeting during the school year and volunteer/serve as your time and interest permit. Social activities are scheduled throughout the year, such as family dinners at local restaurants and adult nights out.
All My School Preschool teachers have college degrees and many have earned their masters in Early Childhood Education. Our professionals are Colorado certified Early Childhood Professionals. Each class is led by two teachers with low child to teacher ratios and small class size. For example, our maximum class sizes are: 12 children to 2 teachers in Early Preschool, 14 or 13 children to 2 teachers in Preschool, and 16 children to 2 teachers in Pre-Kindergarten. As both teachers are credentialed, a group of 16 can divide into two smaller groups of 8 each allowing for more personalized and individualized experiences.
My School Preschool is housed in a modern building with secure access, gated expansive playground, full-size gym, natural light in all classrooms, dedicated art room, library and more. The school is conveniently located in Greenwood Village near Belleview and Yosemite.
