My School Preschool stays current with best practices for the preschool environment, while honoring its rich history with long-lived traditions. The school was founded in 1971 and for 50 years has been guiding young hearts and minds. MSP is an independent non-profit preschool. The school began in Littleton and over the years has been housed at Slavens in Denver, St George’s in Cherry Hills Village, and since 2008 at St. Catherine’s campus in Greenwood Village. MSP is non-denominational and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, or national origin.
The school is operated by the Executive Director and the Executive Committee of the Board. The successful operation and continuation of the school depends upon cooperation and fulfillment of responsibilities among the Director, Teachers, Board, and Parents.
Each family is requested to attend at least one Community Meeting and volunteer as your time and interest permit. Social activities are scheduled throughout the year, such as the Trunk-or-Treat, Holiday Program, Dads' Breakfast and Graduation. Families are requested to support the fundraising activities such as the Family Giving Campaign and Adult Social & Auction.
All My School Preschool teachers have college degrees and many have completed graduate-level studies in Early Childhood Education. Each class is led by two teachers with low child to teacher ratios and small class size.
MSP maximum class sizes are: 12 children to 2 teachers in Early Preschool, 14 children to 2 teachers in Preschool, and 16 children to 2 teachers in Pre-Kindergarten.
MSP is housed in a modern building with secure access, gated expansive playground, full-size gym, natural light in all classrooms, dedicated art room, library and more. The school is conveniently located in Greenwood Village near Belleview and Yosemite.
Ms. Corina received her B.A in Spanish with a minor in International Business from Texas State University. She started her career as an analyst in finance. Before joining MSP she taught for seven years in elementary school. She is a former MSP Pre-K and preschool teacher and parent, all of which give her unique insight and enthusiasm about our community. Most recently Corina has worked as head of admissions for a large private school.
Ms. Jane received her B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Denver where she graduated Cum Laude. She attended University of Northern Colorado for Graduate Studies in Elementary Education. Before joining MSP in 2009, Jane taught Preschool at Wellshire PDO and Kindergarten & 1st grade in the Cherry Creek School District.
Ms. Amy has taught Pre- K through fourth grade during her teaching career. Before joining MSP she was a reading interventionist for small groups in elementary school. Amy received her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University and completed my graduate work at Chapman University in elementary language and academic development.
Ms. Sara received her B.A. in Elementary Education (K-8) with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Western Michigan University. She minored in creative arts, math and science. Before joining MSP in 2023, she taught Pre-K in Indiana for 15 years, where she served as the Pre-K lead and was the curriculum director. She taught in the Michigan Public Schools for 3 years prior. She is director qualified.
Ms. Harmony received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Theatre from Colorado State University where she was a member of the Psi Chi International Honors Society. Harmony led classes for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for 15 years and is also a licensed Music Together instructor. She joined MSP in 2018.
Ms. Kini received her B.A. in Earth Sciences with a minor in Elementary Education from University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining MSP in 2019, Kini was an elementary school teacher in the Cherry Creek School District, where she was one of the original teachers to bring AVID to the district. Kini is currently pursuing her Master's in Education and will graduate in December 2023.
Ms. Candy received her undergrad degree from Rutgers University in Social Welfare and Art History. She then received a graduate degree from Harvard University in the School of Education/Certification in Early Education Leadership. She has over 22 years of teaching experience in early education. Most recently was the director of CCSD early childhood/ENR programs.
Ms. Nicole received her B.A. in Human Development (Early Childhood Education) from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She has more than 15 years of experience as an early childhood educator. Before joining MSP in 2018, Nicole taught in the Douglas County and Jefferson County school districts. She is director qualified.
Ms. Beth received her M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College and her B.S. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Beth joined MSP in 2018 and brings experience from reputed area programs including Colorado Academy, Graland Country Day School and St. Anne’s Episcopal School.
Ms. Marianne received her M.A. in Education (Therapeutic Recreation) and her B.A. in Dance, both from Springfield College. She brings her passion for dance as a way to support the early learning process. She has worked with children for more than 13 years.
Ms. Sue Schutz started teaching at MSP in 1994, and has taught all age groups. She received her Master’s degree in Early Childhood education and in the past, served as Director of the school for 12 years.
Ms. Molly received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Elementary Education from Macalester College where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a certified Montessori Teacher via AMI. Over the past 20+ years Molly has taught at area preschools, including MSP.
Ms. Joy received an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Metropolitan State University and her master’s degree in teaching from Grand Canyon University. Joy has also received training in Montessori. She has worked in the Education field for many years in the Douglas County school system. Joy has loved being a part of the MSP community for the past 9 years.
My School Preschool periodically has openings for teachers and accepts resumes from quality candidates. MSP is an ideal environment for someone seeking part-time employment in the early childhood field.
Preferred minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, 2 years experience as Lead Teacher in preschool or kindergarten classroom, Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential 2.0
